If you're sitting on the couch, watching the weather on a cloudy, rainy or even stormy day, this is pretty much the music you want to listen too.
Well, at least I do.
It's kind of soothing, with a melancholic touch. If you like EBM and/or industrial, you probably will enjoy listening to these tracks, too. They are neither fast nor hard, but are a lovely and well done addition the your collection.
The first track has a certain morbid catchiness to it, almost irresistible. I liked Human, a nicely constructed track though the vocals are a bit too much at times, but that speaks volumes, I'm not really a people person as they say. All too human, spake the great man. Rain falls scintillatingly with well-balanced vocals.
U&I reverberates lovingly into your skull and rings true. Lovely track and I loved the vocals too, just right. Nice instrumentalism blends it all in well. Cracker has a lovely viscosity to it, flows just nicely. Quite dreamy and sonorous. White has a sharper edge from the start, in fine EBM style, again the vocals balanced well with the sometimes very intense musicality.
Fingers resounds like a banshees backdrop and builds into quite an intense track especially when it minimalises, almost edge-of-the-seat stuff. Fader takes all of the above intensity and packs it into this one track, it's truly fantastic synth work. Quite dramatic, but then it would have to be, for the old ones. Praiseworthy praise.
Jack starts with headbanging madness and continues along the same vein. Immensely good synth, nice and resonant. With a posturing, authoritive, off-hand vocalism that fits in nicely. Infected is typical EBM with a sprinkling of angst, that suits the track, the album and the project. Nice work, thanks for the listen.
