# Software for realtime editing and to import/export patches
- micronAU (OSX) -
http://mysite.verizon.net/retroware/
- DAW Plugin (cp micronAU.component /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components)
- standalone with x-code developer tools ? (not tried yet)
- real time edit via NRPG, send/receive SysEx
- micronit (OSX/Win) -
http://music.geocities.jp/icontrolit56/
- standalone
- open/save as *.mxb, *.mxt
- real time edit via NRPG, receive SysEx (does not send SysEx)
- micronizer (OSX) -
http://mrbook.org/micronizer/
- standalone
- open/save as *.mnz, *.syx
- real time edit via NRPG, send SysEx (does not receive SysEX, no GUI update, bug or not implemented ?)
- SysEx Librarian (OSX) -
http://www.snoize.com/SysExLibrarian
- MidiOX (Win32) -
http://www.midiox.com/
----------------------------------------
- How to import patches into micronit or miconAU ?
-> as MIDI source select the connected MIDI Interface (to send sounds from micron) or a SysEx program (i.e. SysEx Librarian for OSX or Midi-Ox for Win32)
- micronit: midiport - "SysEx In"
- miconAU: source for "midi in"
-> send a program with your micron "Send MIDI sysex" or play *.syx file with a SysEx program. The GUI will update itself and display the loaded program
-> save program
- micronit: click on the knob labelled "4" in the "manual" to save the patch inside of micronit
- miconAU: program is automatically saved in DAW
- How to export patches out of micronit or miconAU into micron and save as sysex to local disk ?
-> import a patch or change any parameter of current patch, "store" LED in micron will light up red, hit "store" button to write program to micron
-> open i.e. SysEx Librian (OSX) - "Record One" - "Send MIDI sysex" in micron program, save program as *.syx
- There seems to be a bug in micronAU and micronit (or maybe cannot be implemented better). Negative values for "Oszillator Octave" and "Pan" result in highest octave and panning right !
-> with micronAU edit the program (i.e. set oscillator octave -3 or panning left) and upload via SysEx. This will change to the correct values
